It used to work. Now it doesn’t.

This app worked for about a week between my Macbook Pro and Xbox One. Ever since then it has not worked. This app is terrible. It will not find your device no matter how long you let it run. And if you let it run most likely it will crash or stop responding. Don’t waste your money.

The new version is amazing it took a non working app and turned it into non working app. Dont understand why they even launched an update if its not going to fix anything. This is the worst app ever, anyone who gave this above a 1 star rating wrote the review months ago when it used to occasionally work.

Well, I wasn’t sure at first if this would work….but it does. Playing my 2nd movie since I purchased it. So far..so good. I’m not sure if it works on other Smart TV’s but it sure works on the Samsung Smart TV.

It doesnt work on my xbox one anymore and I don’t know why. It used to work flawlessly about a week ago, it MIGHT be because of the april update on xbox but i’m not sure at all. I am praying it’s just a bug that can be fixed because I use SofaPlay frequently.

For those of you that have trouble getting to connect, I had the same problem multiple times. Every time I move my xbox one (I’m at college) I have to turn off the streaming feature and then turn it back on. After that, It works flawlessly. I’m not sure if I have to do this because of all the updates, but it always works for me! Just thought I’d let you know my experience and hope that it helps others!

This app really doesnt work. Its stuck in search mode and that doesnt even allow you to get to the options section. i have to force quit every time. I would really like my $5 back.

Selling this app in the Apple App store and not allowing TV shows purchased within iTunes to stream to my XBOX ONE is very misleading… The product description clearly states, “Just drag any movie file onto SofaPLay and it will appear instantly on the big screen in front of you.” Please fix this, or advise me on wether or not I’ve missed something. Until then, 1 star status...

This program works great on my OPPO 103 and Sony Bravia TV. The playback is smooth, no lagging. Thanks for the great work.

This app is AMAZING when it works… please fix it.

This app worked fine until just recently. Now, when I start it up I get the spinning beachball of death and have to force quit the app in order to shut it down. It was working just fine a couple weeks ago.

I have no issues playing mp4 or mkv files on my Xbox One. However, if I try to use my Samsung TV (listed as a device), it doesn’t work. Also if I try to use an MOV file, such as a video captured on my iPhone, it won’t work. I’ll happily change to 5 stars if these two issues are resolved!

Its been a really useful, solid, app, but with the latest update, I can no longer get it to connect to my xbox. Hope they can sort it out soon.

So simple and easy. I just watched MKV movie. Just drop the file and it plays on xbox one.

App sat there and did nothing. Never found my TV—tried repeatedly. Waste of $4.99.

Works flawlessly on my one, but with the media player app now on PS4 it would be great to have it work there as well.

I was looking for an easy DNLA solution to play videos on my Xbone. This worked once, and now is a complete lemon and no amount of restarts seems to make it work. I want to say that it’s because MS broke something with the developer preview, but I doubt it.

app were working probably untill it has start doesnt work i tried steps that they said but there is nothing i want my mony back liz

This app has been working flawlessly for me since the day that I had purchased it… I would just like to throw in a few suggestions that I think would make it better. 1. Support for sustitles rather than having subs hardcoded to video beforehand. 2. Playlist support for streaming multiple movies or episodes of a tv show simultaneously. Those two points considered, sofaplay would become a 5 star app for me. I would really like to see my suggestions come to fruition, but for now, I am really pleased with this app.
