Good app, works fine with Yosemite and Samsung smart TV but needs photo slide option. Would be best if the user could set photo display time.

After several seconds app was down. My TV Samsung with LAN internet connection.

Hi. First of all thank you for a excellent program. And the question: Is there any way to allow to have sound played locally on PC? It would be very helpful to use it with headphones.

Not difference between SofaPlay and SofaPlay lite for Me on DLNA Media Render (DMR).. Video files stopped after few second on both version.. please don’t buy it if you have DMR..

I downloaded the free lite version, which worked fine, thinking the full version would be the same without the restrictions. WRONG! What a waste of $5!! The app can’t connect to my XB1. Will be asking for a full refund on their site.

Same as others have said, worked in the beginning and can no longer find my xbox one. It’s been months since it stopped working. The description should really be changed because it says that it will connect to the Xbox One. False advertising much?

I really don’t understand all these complaints. Perhaps check your own UPnP settings before flipping out? The only issue I’ve had is an occasional crash when closing a video that’s playing. (1080p over wifi to XBONE.)

After working great for a solid year, this paid software no longer does the one thing I purchased it for. It doesn’t find my xbox one, on the odd occasion that I persist with opening and reopening it may find my xbox one after searching for hours but you can’t play any file without it hanging endlessly. What once was the perfect piece of software for xbox one owners is now worthless. Save your money until you hear news that they have fixed this horrendous issue.

I downloaded the lite version to make sure it would connect with my xbox at first it did not want to connect then restarted the app and it found the xbox. It streamed the first two mins so I bought the app. We all spend five bucks on useless stuff but how easy is it to find an app that will get an XBOX1 and Mac to talk?

Ever since the last big update a few weeks ago for the Xbox One, Sofaplay no longer can find the console on my network. An update would be very nice.

I’ve had to uninstall and redownload this app twice for it to connect to my Xbox 1. Now even that isn’t working. Garbage that I paid for this and it won’t work.

I’ve used this app with absolutely no issues for a couple of months.

I paid for this app and now I regret it. The app gets so many updates yet it fixes one to create another problem. The help section of the app allegedly has a crash report log that you can email from the app itself yet the email that’s associated with is no good so you can’t send the report! this stupid app has crashed nore times today than I can count and the stupid company doesn’t even answer their emails or Facebook posts! I couldn’t give it less than 1 star because the option isn’t available!

This latest update crashes after about 45 mins into a movie.

Worst app ever. Do Not Wast Your Money!!! I didn’t listen to the previous 1 star-ers and wish I would have becasue I would have been $4.99 richer. This is going to sound ridiculous, but when it works, it’s amazing. When it doesn’t work, it’s the most frustrating thing ever. It’s worked well a handful of times and then others it was a bunch of quiting and restarting until it decieded to work. Now it just plain hasn’t worked in over a week. I’m done and want my money back.

the app works now, i dont plan on updating ever again though. first time ive been able to use the app in over a year. so i used this app the other day it worked right after it updated. watch a 3 hour video with no issues. hasn’t worked once since then. this app is terrible. they should refund all the money they got from this. and it should be pulled from the app store forever, because tis never going to work

I’ve sent at least 4 support requests to the developer with no response. I tried contacting them via twitter as well - no response. I spent $4.99 on an app that doesn’t work like is says it should and the developer will not respond. I am sending an email to apple to request a refund and report the developer as unresponsive.

It was working and then the March 13th update came along and broke it again. Biggest waste of $4.99!

I bought this app directly after buying my xbox one. I stream a bit of video from Macbook pro to xbox one. Worked great for a long time, just as advertised, seamless connection, drag and drop. However after update 1.3.5, which is the current version, I can no longer get sofaplay to do anything but search for devices. It no longer connects to xbox one. I have tried all the troubleshooting support sofaplay has to offer, and none of it works. The app went from being something I used very often and didn’t mind paying for has now become a bit of a ripoff. Since the 18th I have been unable to use sofaplay whatsoever.
